Writer-Spin
Every year I post an ad on Match.com and the ad runs for 1 month. This year, I realized I can run my own personals ad year 'round. The 2011 Match.com ad read like this:
If you are older, and you are still addicted to music, I am your gal. I very much prefer jazz and blues to other music types, but plenty of wonderful music exists, that doesn't fit in those categories.
If you are a musician, I hope you would describe your music abilities as advanced or better. It doesn't matter what instrument you play, or if you sing.
Let's just have some music fun! I know I am seeking a very special person, but it will never happen if I don't ask.
To put it simply, I would rather meet a good musician, than meet a boyfriend. However, if I could have a Musician-Boyfriend, then I would be really happy.
Oh, I do love to dance too, but I don't know much about dancing. I spent too much time singing and creating music, and not much time dancing to it.
If we don't have music in common, we can still be friends, but it will be on a different level. Sorry to say, if you consider yourself conservative, it just won't work out for us.
As well as musicians, as a writer, I love the company of other creative writers. Creative people have an internal spark that I don't find elsewhere.
I want you to know, I am not a traditional woman, and I tend to be a little complicated, although, from a man's point of view, I have been told I am a low maintenance person.
I write business books, originate real estate loans, and truly enjoy activities within the business world, as well as the artistic world, so I can be both logical and emotional. I believe the intellect is a problem solving tool, to be turned on and off, as needed. :-) Within a relationship, I try to stay in the emotional side as much as possible.
I was a Democrat, until this year when Democrats became so conservative. Now, like a lot of people, I am registered Independent.
I am looking for a spectacular relationship, but probably, not marriage. I am happier making decisions about today, rather than decisions about the future.
Please write if most or all this sounds good to you. :-) Judy
So, there you have it. No more Match.com ads for me. The person I am looking for is very special indeed, and may not exist, but I always feel better if I ask for what I want.
Take care, Judy at 909.797.1024
