Put a positive spin on your writing style
This is a free networking forum for California Inland Empire musicians and vocalists.
Try searching "local musicians Inland Empire," or any search similar to this. There is nothing there. Results are few and far between.
Maybe live music is such a luxury that clubs can't afford to hire us any longer, but musicians still like to play.
This is a new Musicians Web Directory, started August 2010. It will take a while to build a few members, but, you may agree that having new contacts will be great.
My hope is that musicians, even if no longer playing professionally, can meet through this site. We may want to jam and get together for some musical fun. If a musician directory friend played close by, I would love to attend the performance and offer some attendance support. The directory can help locate a member by the instrument he plays.
There is no cost to be listed in this directory. This site is strictly for creative people, no marketing. To be considered for a listing please write me and give me the following information:
Your name, the fact that you are over 50, your contact information, including the city where you live. What instrument do you pay, or are you a singer. Are you a professional or a beginner. How many performing years have you had? Is your aim to network with another musician or band? Please include what type of music you play?
The information doesn't have to be in a special form. I just need a short biography to add to the page according to the instrument you play. Pictures are nice too. I will edit the information to make it somewhat consistent in length and content.
If you give us the information, we will do the web design to get the page seen. New web pages often require 3-6 months to rank high enough on the site index to be noticed. So, we have to be patient. Directing your friends to the site will help as well. Ask them to add their listings. But, nothing will happen if we don't begin now.
As far as contacts, they will have to be direct. I don't have the staff to match up musicians, so you would call the musician directly, or they will call you. You can provide your email address or your web page if you want to. In fact, reciprocal web links are fine with me as long as they are professional personal sites, with a music theme.
All types of music styles will not be listed. Primarily, the directory will list musicians and music preferences of people 50 years of age or older.
Some acceptable music style examples are, Jazz standards, Rock and Roll, Danceable music, Blues, and so on.
The cities listed below are most of the California Inland Empire cities, but not all. If you consider yourself living in the Inland Empire, then please write.
