Oak Glen CA, for Snow and Apple Cider

Every time it snows in the San Bernardino Mountains near Yucaipa, Ca., we jump in the car and make a small day trip to Oak Glen.

Included here are some pictures of the places we visit on these fun occasions. It's like driving into a winter picture, without any of the drawbacks of living in the snow.

This is the road toward Oak Glen, just off Bryant. The white mountain, at the end of the road, is our destination.

Pictures were taken February 27, 2011, after 18" of snow the night before. No ice on the roads.
